During the entire cycling tour, there will be a car accompanying you, carrying your luggage and offering water and fruits. In case of need, you may jump into the car during any point of cycling.

Day 1 : Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai transfer to the city hotel. After a short break we discover the business centre of India (walking) in the afternoon and evening, tasting for the first time delicious south Indian food and enjoying the famous Kingfisher Beer in the nightlife of the megacity.

Day 2 : Mumbai

Morning boat trip to Elephanta Island (Caves) UNESCO world heritage site. Afternoon half-day sightseeing tour, which ends at Chowpatty Beach, where we will share food and sunset with thousands of Bombay wallas.

Day 3 : Mumbai – Goa

5:10 am train to Goa from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) to Madgaon (9 hours) followed by transfer to the Beach Hotel at Colva/Benaulim. Later collect the cycles and first warm-up ride on the beach

Day 4 : Goa

Day excursion to historical, cultural and natural highlights of Goa, including a short cruise on the Mandovi river near Panaji in the evening with a typical Goanese Dance show.

Day 5 : Goa

We start the regular cycling tour with a 15km stretch southwards directly on the Beach to the mouth of Sal river and the scenic fishermen village of Cavelossim. On the way we pass the old Cabo de Rama fort, Agonda Beach and reach our today’s final destination, the calme Palolem Beach, where we spend the night in picturesque huts.

Day 6 : Palolem – Karwar - Gokarna

We cycle from Palolem to Karwar via Cotigao wildlife sanctuary avoiding traffic and embracing nature. Through scenic little roads close to the sea we leave Goa and enter into the state of Karnataka. Language is changing, European influences are disappearing, all is becoming truly south Indian now. Let’s enjoy the wonderful surprises ! Afterwards, transfer to Gokarna. Evening we proceed to Om Beach. Just a few km before today’s finishing line, we stop at the salt lagoon near Gokarna to watch the mostly female workers carrying out their hard jobs. Dinner at Om Beach, swimming in beach…

Day 7 : Gokarna – Sringeri

Transfer from Gokarna with breakfast on the way at Murudeshwar. You will be overwhelmed by the more than 80 meters high gopuram of the Hindu temple and the largest Shiva Statue in India, placed on a little land tongue into the sea. We start cycling from Kundapura. We climb more than 1000m to reach the Deccan plateau. The scenery is changing dramatically. While climbing we pass a forest and wildlife area which offers several points of interest on the way. On reaching Agumbe, traditional Karnataka Lunch is served. Evening, we visit Sringeri Temple, where fish feeding is the ritual for blessings.

Day 8 : Sringeri – Hassan

We cycle through villages capturing the village life. We will stay for the next two nights in Hoysana Village Resort just on the outskirts of the bustling town of Hassan.

Day 9 : Hassan – Halebid – Hassan

In today’s triangular cycling tour, we visit the famous ancient Hindu temples and historical sites of the Kings of the Hoysala Dynasty of the 12th century at Belur and Halebid..

Day 10 : Hassan – Mysore

Today we will arrive in one of the most fascinating towns of South India. Due to the long distance we start early, riding almost continuously downhill all the way along, losing more than 300 meters of altitude. We will stop cycling in Krishnarajanagara. There we offer a transfer for the last 40 km to Mysore to avoid the heavy traffic on 4-lane highway. We will stay at the Viceroy hotel near the Maharaja’s Palace for the next two nights.

Day 11: Mysore

In the Morning we offer a short cycling trip to Srirangapatnam to visit the summer palace of Tipu Sultan, some temples and to have an unusual boat ride on a small river. Back in town we visit the splendid Maharaja’s Palace. In the evening it is shopping time at fabulous and colourful Devaraja-market.

Day 12 : Bangalore

Transfer to Bangalore International Airport.
